Shearer Pipes

I will sell both the Shearer trail pipe and drag pipe lower then anyone else. The Shearer blaster pipe is the STRONGEST bottom end to mid range pipe out there. I have dyno tested all the pipes; and I do believe I am the only person on here with a in house dyno. I made 250 dyno pulls on Blasters
Since December. RDZ makes a Blaster drag pipe which is a banshee pipe fitted to a blaster; the pipe makes good peak power; but the front side of the curve is weak. The pipe has no bottom end power and is weak in the middle. I would give up 2hp on the top to gain 8hp in the middle anytime. Remember its takes torque to get that bike moving. Mat Shearer pipes always come on hard and pull to the top. The front side of the curve is what you really feel. If anyone wants to tell me that there is a Blaster pipe that pulls harder on the front side; by all means do so. If you want to stop by the shop and test your bike; give me a call. I have several Blaster pipes that I could show you how much harder the Shearer pipe pulls.
I will sell the Shearer pipe for $290 nickel plated; that comes with the silencer and all the hardware. The drag pipe is still in R and D and will be offered soon. Mat's pipe knowledge is way in front of many other pipe builders. Many well known after market companies are now buying his pipes to sell under their name. Knowing Mat Shearer personally, he his one of the most honest and humble person I have ever meet. Like myself he spends 60+ hours a week doing R & D work. All of his hard work has been proven at several sponsored drag racing events.

sounds like an excellent exhaust
although im not very mechanically minded with quads yet how would this run with my mods im only running a k&n so far and only planning on doing simple bolt ons like reeds and exhaust
 
looks like kennedy is gonna have the best price avail. if anybody wants them needs to get a hold of him cause you will not find a better priced on a new knickle plated one.
 
i've done lotsa business w/ kennedy and he's THE most engine smart dude i've ever met when it comes to 2strokes. he knows sh*t i've never even thought about thinkin about!
he's right about the shearer pipe. it pulls HARD! my f7 had a bit more peak hp, but the thing is you couldn't really use it. you'd rip down the gear and right at the end of the gear, you'd get a boost of power (makes wheelies a pain in the ass, cuz you can't really control the balance when you're up since the throttle's so touchy), then you shift up and you have to start at the very bottom of the band again.
w/ the shearer, the curve is so strong at the front and the peak is so wide that you pull through the gear, then shift up and you find yourself still on the bottom of the peak! makes for some strong acceleration.
kennedy's port and polish job and head work will def pull every ounce of juice outta that pipe too. my blaster's like a completely different machine. i'm sure that everyone else who's got a shearer and kennedy's p&p will chime in here.
 
you should dude. they're f*ckin badass! get angus' p&p and headwork too man. it's worth every penny.
that shearer sounds awesome too.
 
nice, it'll help. but angus has a custom design specifically for the shearer pipe. he modified the parameters of his "normal" p&p/head design to maximize the power out of the shearer pipe.
but if you've already paid dough for a p&p it's kinda tuff to drop even more dough on another one
 
about shearer, I wanted a pipe built by him and he wouldn't do it because he did not have a bike there, I told him I'll send you the pipe just copy it and he said nope if I can't dyno the bike I will not build a pipe! that told me if he's making a pipe its definately gonna work
 
i'm sending my cylinder and head off to angus tomorrow!!! i'm getting a dune port, head work, shearer pipe and 35mm carb. i can't wait to see what it will do!!!
