seized kick starter

depends on if its acualy seized. i dont see how it could seize, only way i would see that is the engine is seized and when you try to kick it over, it cant turn it over. do you own the blaster? just take the clutch cover off and see whats up.(drain oil first, probably need footpeg off, then take off that clutch cover)

I agree with 89Custom, most likely your engine is seized not your kick starter. Put your engine in gear and push it, see if you can turn it over that way.

Good luck

you can turn the engine on by pushing it in gear? Sorry to steal the thread

No. What he is saying is if the engine is actually siezed up, then putting it in gear and pushing it will most likely free the pistons.

It has happened to me before man, I had a bigger friend just keep try to kick it loose and it worked. After you get it free, just keep kicking it lol.

yes the blaster is mine. When i push it in gear the engine will turn but the kick starter is STILL stuck(not moving) in the up position

might as well not just guess on it ,just take the cover off and see whats the problem
