I bought some new bearing and seals to put on since i was gonna take it apart and put new front brakes on. I never thought of this until i was taking the old ones out and saw the grease on them. Do sealed bearings come allready packed with grease, should i pry a seal off to check??

Sealed bearings do come with very little grease from the factory and i do mean very little. You can pop the plastic cover off and add more if you choose.

I ended up taking the seal off and checking, and you are right there was very little grease. The inner bearing was stuck to the axle and i couldn't get it off. I went to the parts store and bought a valve spring compressor since it was the only one with small enough claws to get in that tight spot. I had to cut the arms and weld in a 11/2 inch piece to make them long enough, but it worked. When the bearing finally let go with a loud pop i thought the puller had broke, much to my relief the bearing popped loose and the puller is still good to go. Hope this helps someone with a stuck bearing. Ken
