scrambler help

just need so help with my friends scrambler. it will run for a lil fine then bog out about 5 mins later it will fire back up than do the same thing. the overheating light is flickering but the motor is not hot at all

check the compression and the reeds

if it thinks it's overheating then it may have one of those sensors that shuts the motor off when it gets hot (some motors have them to shut off when low on oil as well). check to see why the overheating light is flickering, may solve your problem.
