Hey im trying to get my stator cover off to switch to a 14t sprocket but the screws are stripped does anyone have any ideas to how i can get it off?

If you have a dremal with cutoff put a slot in it. Or small cold chisel, start by making a notch on face towards edge then tap in direction to remove. Smacking on face to put notch also help loosen, kinda like a impact.

I have used almost everyone on this blasty as almost every screw was stripped especially the #3's that are inside the clutch cover PITA!

Maybe if dumb ass previous owners knew how to use a damn screw driver i wouldn't have this issue HAHA
Iuse the small cold chisel method, a short, sharp blow in the anti clockwise direction, and hey presto.... loose....
what i do before i strip them all the way out. (make sure you use a #3 not #2 phillips) hit the back of the screwdriver with a hammer then put a cresent wrench on the handle of the screwdriver to help you turn it. push in on the screwdriver while turning the cresent wrench with the other hand
An impact screwdriver will take that off with ease. Anyone who works on quads should have one in there tool box, it has saved me many times. I have also used vise grips from the side angle to free them in a pinch.
that's what i use too jay. it works great!! fortunately i need it for my job so I have a nice lithium ion 18v impact
