i just got power.... we lost it on monday and been out since then.... 3days with no power, water, heat, chargers..... etc
not much damage here, but the jersey shore is another story... that place is GONE! wiped off the map. owell bunch of sleze ball SOJILWUG&#)#u[ anyways....

I got off real lucky. Didn't even lose power.

We got lucky down here. I live about 120 miles inland and 4 miles north of the North/South Carolina state line, and we didn't even get any rain from the system. It drizzled a little Monday afternoon, and that was it. I'm sure the Outer Banks took a pounding, but fortunately most of North Carolina was spared.

My thoughts, prayers, and good luck wishes go out to all those affected by the storm. From the pics I've seen, Sandy was a disaster of epic proportions, and I can only imagine what its like to have lost everything.

On a related note, even for those not directly affected by the storm, be very careful when buying used cars in the coming months! It won't be long before dishonest dealers start to attempt to unload flood vehicles on the population...especially those of us on the East Coast.

auctally where i lived, we go rain, but no flooding. but south of me, they got major flooding
