This 95 blaster we have been working on every time it runs out of gas it goes full throttle like a bat outta hell and takes off if its in gear and revs high if it is in nuetral WTF is going on? I know my 2001 just dies so any body have a clue whats happening here? about took off through a privacy fence the other day lmao :o

umm its sucking a ton of air and leaning waaaaaaaaaaay out. running a 2 stroke out of gas is NOT A GOOD THING stop doing it lol

they only rev out if u arent trying to ride it. if you are riding it will bog out but just sitting there ya its creating a lean condition and revving up

not meaning to I really think this thing eats the heck out of gas why? no leaks and no was riding and it took off wide open barely killed the switch before going through fence not fun.

was the top end just recently done? during break in my blaster used a lot of fuel until the rings seated , then it went up from there . any mods to the blaster? anything done to intake or carb?

tors eliminated and carb rebuild and a DG pipe dont like the pipe but other was leaking so had no choice No the top end is older kinda of starting to run better but still no power on throttle then power after a few seconds have not got this blaster quite figured out does need a rebuild

This blaster was barely running would not kick over now switched frames and coil kicks on about 6th kick and runs better smoke has died down alot and just seems to be running ritch maybe not sure kinda stuck here mainly hesitates on take off like not going to pop wheely but then goes hard after a few seconds

do a leak down test , and do a compression test . what size main jet? 230 is stock , dg pipe is a bit better than stock one so you should have a 240 or 250 main . if you have removed the airbox lid , or are running a pod filter , you should be jetted around a 260 or 270

thats probably it no the lid has not been on lately so jetting is way off I:I
but would this cause it to take off when out of gas or the hesitation or both?

yessir , just buy mikuni jets , the numbers are stamped on them . remove the carb and remove the bowl , the main jet is hex shaped , brass . unscrew it , and screw in the new one , no need to he-man it , its delicate , treat it like an egg . You've been running it way too lean , so get a 270 and a 260 , try the 270 first . also are you pre-mixing gas? or is the injection system still hooked up?
