does anybody have pics of running a roundhouse swinger with a skid plate? ive got a roundhouse swinger and ive got a skidplate for a stock swinger, it would fit but only if i made brackets and welded them on. thats fair enough but its very low to the ground when positioned on where it would sit, the tyres are 18's. pics would be awesome. thanks guys.:D

ive got a round house with the tabs for it but i just have not put it on. ill grab some pics of mine for ya with it kinda mounted. lol

here ya go... about 2 in of clearance with 20's

thanks bro, ive got about the same clearance maybe a little less on the 18s does it catch on stuff? whats your opionion on running without a plate?

i have the stock skid plate with 18's and i catch everything not sure if there is a clearance difference between aftermarket and stock

You guys are running 18" skateboard wheels and complaining about ground ckearance. Thats like putting salt on potato chips and complaining about being thirsty.....

I did no such thing sir! hahaha

with my 20's and no plate im fine, i dont catch on anything really (knock on wood) but i have not been running naked very long and ill be mounting that skid up right when i find the time. But when your riding with no plate you really need to plan your lines and do your best to stick to them so you dont smash your sprocket into the ground or worse a rock, so unless you only mx or flattrack id would use it. Just learn how not to get hung up! I:I lol

not complaining he asked a question and i answered what happens with the 18's. where i ride 20's wont be much better how much more ground clearance are u actually gonna gain with 20's maybe 2 inches not worth me swapping brand new tires for 2inches just my 2 pennies

i rock a skid plate with 18's in the woods ... all ya gotta do is go faster over them rocks and you'll slide right over. also if your goin ridin when its swampy just spray the bottom of the skid with some good quality silicone to help the slide
