Rolling Chassis

Well blaster engines can be found for a decent price. If totally against that, it seems that yz250s have the best turn out. Also, lasxgames on here did a KTM90 that turned out wonderful. Motor swaps aren't easy and take tons of time and effort. Make sure you know what you're getting into. I:I

Your cheapest bet would be getting a blaster engine to throw in. No frame mods needed and stuff. Swaps get pricey fast.

fairly cheap and fun? You've described a blaster to a "T".

Ebay or the for sale section of this forum for a blaster engine in decent shape and then put it together.

i might do that. i'm probably going to buy 2 extra motor and im going to tweak one of them out and bore it to 240. then when i blow the current engine i can do a quick swap and have a bad ass quad

You cannot bore it to a 240. I think you are thinking of .040 over, which will gain very little. If you want a 240, you will have to buy a 240 Sleeve and have it put in. LA Sleeves sells 240 sleeves. I:I

yea thats what im talking about. my machine guy told me to get a sleeve for him and he'll machine the cylinder and head to a 240 big bore. the motor ive got right now is a .080 bore.

.080 is one away from being useless, so you will be happy to get the sleeve. The bad thing is that big bore pistons are getting pricier and harder to come by. You may be interested in getting a stock sleeve put back in and get it ported and head rechambered.
