Hey guys!

I have an idea of doing an engine swap, I have an 89' rm250 motor laying around and I was just wondering if it would bolt right in, sprokets would line up, blaster ignition system would power the 250 motor ect. If anyone has done this before please give me some tips or advise and pics work great too I:I

hmmm '89 RM250. Never seen one of those swapped in.

The only way to tell if the sprockets will line up etc is to measure and try.

I would imagine the ignition systems are compatible enough to work. Probably not optimal for a highly tuned powervalved suzuki dirtbike engine to be ran off a blaster CDI box but I would think that it might still work.

The headaches here are the same as every other swap..... vibrations and fitting a pipe.

Well thats a relief that the CDI box might be compatible, im gonna swap it in there tommorrow I measured it and it will fit right in there. Im gonna see if I get spark when I hook up the electricals and see if the sprokets line up, then the only real problem is fitting a pipe haha
