rim size question?

so i bought a set of rims for the blasty. but i just need to know where you measure them at to get the diameter. do you measure outside lip to outside lip. or do you measure across where the tire bead sits? need to know to order tires. thanks guys I:I

rims are 9" outer lip to outer lip. and 8" inside bead

yeah those are 8" rims

i figured they were but didnt want to buy 8" tires and try and mount them on 9" rims lol

yeah its common to make that mistake when measuring rims

well i know how to measure them on car rims i just didnt know if it was the same for atv rims

its all good the problem i have is breaking the bead on my front rims to change the tires if you have any tips let me know

well if you get lucky very very easy and they just pop right off... if they are froze on the rims it sucks... we have literally had to cut them off before
