So I took the blaster out yesterday and it was riding fine the idle was a bit high but nothing crazy. I rode it for a while but then it started Reving like wot Reving not instant wot but building and fast. I cut the engine but had to get home. So I kicked it it turned over no prob but started Reving again. When I out it in gear and let out the clutch it would ease down but I had to shift gears to keep up with the throttle because it kept Reving higher. So I limped her home getting up to about 3rd gear then cutting the engine a few times. I tried smashing the throttle a few times just I case it was bound up but nothing. I just changed the throttle from a twist to thumb and reinstalled a new cable. There is slack in the cable and it was riding fine for a while before this happened. After I got it home I opened up the thumb throttle to check it out it's not bound up. Then today I started looking at the carb and the boots on the engine side no cracks or gaps everything's snug. When I was looking at the carb I see the oil nipple was not caped when the moron I got it from did the bypass. But it was working fine for a while before it started Reving out so I don't know if that was it. I have the tors on the carb but it wasn't plugged in to the twist throttle so I didn't plug it in to the thumb throttle. I don't n ow what's going on with this thing lol. Any help is appreciated. Sorry for the looooong post but I just wanted to give as many details as possible.

That creeping up idle and how you said it was running away sounds like an airleak.

The oik injection nipple needs plugged for sure. I'm not sure what you mean by the the tors is on and a twist throttle?

If the tors brick is on the carb, make sure that it is sealing properly. If it's not tight or cross threaded (I've done that), it could let extra air in.

Sorry I should have clarified there was no place for the tors to be plugged in on the twist throttle but there is a plug on the thumb throttle but I did not plugged it in
