the engine seems to rev up by itself (only in neutral or when i pull the clutch in) after a little bit of hard riding. i dont think its an idle problem because the quad idles fine when i first start it. But after riding it will rev up in nuetral. is this normal? i have two blasters one that completly stock and one that isnt but they both do the same thing. anyone know what it could be?

which one is the air mixture screw? ive only been riding for about a month and know nothing about quads

Turn this a quarter turn at a time...you can fine tune on top of the tors

Could be your Tors or an air leak some where? The TORS are notorious for causing problems like this. Most just disconnect the tors. There is a thread that tells you how to do it on this site.

I have 2 blasters one stock and one heavily modded and they both do the same thing your talking about. I have tried everything including disconnecting the tors fine tuning the air and idle screws, checked every inch of the case and all gaskets for air leaks and I can't do anything about it. starts and idles fine but after it gets hot and I have been riding hard it never fails it always revs high in N or when I pull the clutch. I have just learned to live with it.

it doesnt sound to to bad but it doesnt sound good..idk man some kid said my floater was too high whatever than means..

it idles fine when i first start it up so i dont think its the throttle cable..i'll try it out though and see if it helps.

i havent done anthing with it yet..there is about a foot of snow outside im waiting for the strom to end maybe i'll ride a little tonight and then tweek it

Mine does the same thing .You just have to play with the adjustment of the idle screw .Sometimes i turn it down after i been riding but i have the idle pretty low on start up so once it does warm up its just about perfect

i tried that already it didnt work..i had my idle so low at one point the quad couldnt idle when i first started it and it still did the same sh*t when i rode..its weird..i almost want to try jetting another carb for it but i dont feel like doing all that work
