Repacking LRD silencer

I want to repack it, but there are rivets holding the silencer together. Can it be repacked? Do I need to just drill out the rivets and then replace them? Any help would be awesome! Thanks

yep, drill out the rivets, which are usually larger than the average 1/8" rivet normal people have for auto body, sheetmetal work, rain gutters, ect.
carefully using the correct size bit, drill off just the head, not down into the silencer body, then tap the remaining rivet in thru.
I replaced them with short 1/4" hex head, self tapping, sheet metal screws, added a little high temp copper rtv on the threads to help them stay put, seal better, and are now easily removable for future repacks
