Aight I have ket my airbox lid on ever since i bought the blaster but ive heard that removing it gives the blaster more power....is this right....and also do i need to do anything with the jetting if i already have a pipe?

When you take off the airbox cover you let more air into the carb. More air= more power. You should also get a larger jet for your FMF. I belive the FMF website calls for a 270 main jet.

yea you should jet up if you have a pipe, removing the air box lid wont effect jetting too much. i was running stock jetting when i had my airbox lid off and he whole rest of the bike was stock. then i only upgraded to a 250 main when i went to my FMF system.

If youve jetted, you can take take it off yea, and if you havent jetted you can still take it off. I'd just recommend that you re-jet sometime soon.

yea it should have a light grey or tan hue to it and its gotta be dry, but not burnt to be in good working condition

Ok, sounds good! what about pipes now....i think im getting the psycho green f7 pipe right before spring for the new riding season but is it gonna gimme lots more power then my fmf gold series and powercore 2 pipe?

I was gonna get that pipe lol. But i don know if it gives alot more power or not, cause ive never had one. I assume it dose but i was gonna wait for kennedy powers' pipe testing befor i got anything. But he said it will be done soon so, you'll have your answer

like a kiehn 30mm but im gonna get a mikuni 30mm cause i have all the jets and personally like them

Depending on how much u further u wanna mod ur engine id get a good 35' carb. But the intake from the airbox will only accept up to a 28', (i think, correct me if im wrong). You have to get a larger one to make it fit. Same with the boot from the carb to the reeds.
