Hey i was wondering do you need any special tools to remove your shocks i want to repaint them. Also what is the difficult level 1-10 let me know. And is there any special paint i should use.

2 bolts LOL and far as painting goes spiral cut some paper and coil it in so not to get paint on the chrome sits
I mean can i remove the spring its self not the whole thing i know that's simple HAHA
OK yea cause i want to sand them down real good and paint them right so i don't have to do it again after 3 rides
Its pretty cheap ....I used it on my 63 chevy II nova front and rear seats and it held up good and I painted them white
Also you have the dip thing for like screw driver handles but I have only seen yellow the maybe other colors
Can you post a link where i can find some i might be the test dummy to try it depending on the price
Yea i might try it sometime now i just gotta figure out how to get the spring off
If you had an arbor press you might be able to rig something up, but unless you are VERY competant you WILL hurt yourself real bad. Maybe if you have a good auto parts/machine shop they might be able, local stealership/repair shop. I won't even begin to explain because I don't want to be liable for it, they can hurt you BAD.
Ok that's understandable but how would i go about painting it with out taking it off and it not looking like sh*t
