regular maintanence for blasters

is it just changing the gearbox oil??how often would i want to be doing this,i supose it depends on how im driving it ya??and what other maintenance is there?? not a lot i would imagine...still wondering how much oil do i need to put in the gearbox,answer in this thread or the other one ive up about the oil for the blaster..

600 ml in the gearbox change every month depend on how much riding you do
lube chain clean air filter
clean carb
lube cables
grease zirks

cleaning the carb,easy or hard???the oil indicator comes on red when i start the quad but goes off about 5 seconds after,its sort of on and off then for the hole ride,possibly a lose connection???:-/

I would just take the injector off there is a diy in the diy section

cleaning the carb is easy just take it off take it all apart and clean it and put it back together

the on off light thing is normal i think. mine does it too. i wanna get rid of oil injection but my dad sais it "VERY" reliable, from whta ive heard they suck and my dad has never owned a blaster before so...

my manual says to use 650ml for normal changes and 700-750 for when the engine has been apart. I use Belray 80w and replace the tranny oil every 20hrs and it seems to be fine, but I do not slip my clutch alot.

and whats the story then with 2 stroke oil,ive no fully syntethic at the moment but i have a full 4 litre carton of semi-synthetic,can i put this into it??whats the difference does anyone know?

i use semi-synthetic. i dont know the difference but it works.

lyk im just an ordinary young fella now and i woudnt know much about engines,i know a fair bit but im not an expert so should be able to carry out the basic maintenance on my blaster??

semi synthetic mean better lubrication for cylinder wall whic eqauls a longer lasting motor =] fully synthetic is the best but very expensive, id recomend Fuchs Silkolene Semi Synthetic 2 Stroke Oil. 14 bucks a liter but it is amzing!

yeah i saw that in mine but this dope on the net told me i need to top it up on coolant and i was like am....???? lol so i was just making sure.
