When I took my topend apart my reed spacer was between the the reed cage & the carb boot. Looked at one on E-bay & it said it went between the jug & the reeds. Which way is correct? I don't trust the $hit I read on there!

depends on why you need a reed spacer, what are you trying to correct? are you trying to add crank case volume???

It was on it when I got it. I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't hurt my new topend the way the previous owner installed it.

if i'm not mistaken, i read once that the 2 different positions will do different things, one increase low end, the other top end, ???neither way will hurt anything
