reed recommedation

Well I got my blaster motor out of the freezing garage and into the basement to get the motor all together cause it is cold outside and I noticed the reeds are shot. I dont want to buy a whole reed assembly just some reeds so what you guys say are the best stock replacements?

I bought boyesen super stock two-stage nylon reeds and I thought they were pretty good. Right after they shattered (extended high rpm use) Kennedy told me they were sh*t and flowwed less than stock ones. Since I don't have a flow bench, I really couldn't argue.

I would go now with one of the carbon fiber versions if you can't do VF3s.

Its not that I cant but I wanna put it together the way I got it, almost stock. Then do the mods and get to notice the differance as the mods come.

Thats what I thought old tried and true boyseen. But any certain version and I asked cause I see you guys like the vorce v3 and I didnt know if vforce sold just reeds.

i've got some of the CF dual stage boyesen reeds and they looked pretty good, still haven't fired the bike tho to test them

Yep those are the ones I used to have. Like I said, I thought they really pepped it up. I just didn't see any point in arguing that when Kennedy said they sucked. For the price try em and see what you think.

The ones YB200 posted a link for. 2-stage nylon for the stock reed cage.

VF2's are the best from what i hear, then vf3's then just replacement boysens

Huh, I always figured VF3s would be better than VF2s. BTW there is a set of VF2s on fleabay for 75. (used)
