Alright, my red light was on so i figured an oil change would help.

I put Castrol Synthetic 10W-40 in it....

The sight glass is full....and the red light is still on.

Any other reasons that light is on?

And this is my first 2stroke and it ticks at idle, Is this normal? I know with a 4stroke it is bad....

and i bought FormulaK2 to put in mny resevoir, and i didnt notice it was premix only until i got home.....is this safe to use?

Is your oil tank under the seat full? Also do you know if the oil injection is still intact? That oil light is for the oil that mixes with the gas (from under the seat) If it is on, until you figure out why, dont run it, only long enough to see if its still on when you tried to fix something or added oil. If you are running without oil, you will fry the top end.

nope.....

I posted a similar thread and asked what oils everyone suggested

I'm calling the guy i bought it from to ask if the oil injection is blocked off

I just called him and he said that light has always just randomly came on and when off from time to time....

When you pull the cap off of the tank, you will see the sensor that turns the light on if its low. Make sure it has good connections everywere, because if you run oil injection, that light is pretty important to save your motor, when you get riding, and forget to check then the motor locks up and then you notice, "ahh crap my oil ran out!!" Lots of people choose to premix their gas.

If you are going to keep the injection on, I have my whole tank, sensor, light, pump, etc. Anything that would need to fix it. PM if interested.

I filled my resivoir tank up and the light went off...

How much do you want for the injection set up if you still have it?
