rebuilding the top end

alright so i guess you can say i messed up by going riding the other day because my engine seized up. i opened it up today and sure enough it looks like the piston has a four corner seizure. the sleeve looks ok though so does that mean i can just buy the same size piston and put that in or do i have to bore it a size up and do all that?

take it to you machine shop so they can measure it and see if it out of round......it may just need a hone or it may need a bore....they will tell you whats best

around how much do you think it will cost to get it done?

usually around 50 bucks or so if it needs a bore, then figure 20 bucks for a gasket kit, and 80-100 for a wiseco piston kit. that should get you rolling
