I had recently gotten a JT 40 tooth sprocket. It's aluminum and I'm concerned as to how long it'll last. Should I keep it or return it and get a steel sprocket?

An Aluminium sprocket will last well providing that you change the other sprockets and chain for new ones.
Keep the lube up to it and have the chain slack adjusted well.

That's the sprocket I have and it still looks new, I'm at around 15 hours ride time with it. I clean and lube it after every ride.
Okay good to hear guys! Just didn't want it to wear out faster then my new chain and front sprocket. I've always kept chains well lubed so that won't be a problem.
