rear sporcket.......

Well i put a new chain, and sprockets all renthal brand. and after putting like 5-6 hrs on them i can see some wear on the rear sprocket already.

My bro has the same setup on his quad also for almost a half year now and mine has as much wear as his but in much much less time.

anyone else have this problem????? im alittle unhappy with renthal now.

Chain at correct tension? Chain lube applied?

yep i have it tensioned correctly and it is also lubed

What terrain, mud and dirt wears a sprocket real fast.

Are the carrier adjusters adjusted evenly, if not the chain may not be running at 90 degs to the sprocket causing wear.

yes they were, but now that i have it inside i see the whole carrier has gotten loose so it was tightening ans loosing itself as it pleased........

problem is taken care of now....
