Ok I wondering what shock I should 250r 400ex or the 450 i'm wondering which one would a direct fit and not be to stiff

Not trying to give you a hard time but try searching the forums. There's tons of threads on this already.
i would go with the 400ex shock for one i have it and like it 2 its prety easy install and way better then stock
well 250 ok it puts the back end up high enough to where i cant take corners well at high speeds, great jumping shock if your under 150, the raptor 700 shock will fit also might be stiff but i will be buying one soon when i get a deal on one
i have a 250r shock and i like it alot.the only thing is mounting it.the two like circle tabs on the inside of the top mount you gave to grind them out,grind the top mount on the shock just a lil not much,and for the bottom the bolt sleeve that goes thru the bottom shock mount grind that down to fit into the bottom mount.sounds like more work then it really is.it took me like a lil more then 1 hour to do so not bad at all.i say from a 1-10 and 10 being hard it like a 4
atc 250r is nice but its hard to find a spot to mount the rezzie so you still have good acess to adjust your rebound
no you mount it to the bar that slants back on the right side.thats where i put mine and i can still turn the know on mine just fine
my tommey pipe wont let me do that so i had to mount in over on the left side which is pushing down my intake tube but it works nice shock
Do you guys take alot of turns at high speed or jump cause I've read that the 250r is not any good for that
maybe i will see if its better mounting it on the left side rather then the right seems like everyone is mounting on the left
