Hey, Im new too quads so bare with me. I have a 04 blaster. It was stock when i got it. I Just put full fmf exhaust and twin air filter and took the air lid off. I put a new a 260 main jet in when i did this. I rode it for a half an hour it was running good. Then it just sputtered and died and wouldn't start again. I pulled the plug it had oil on it. So i cleaned it and put it back in. It would start but, won't ideal and if i give gas it will just die. I was wondering if it was a jetting problem? Or could it be something else? Thanks for the info.

I want to say that its your TORS system. There is a DIY here on the forum. Also, A 260 may be slightly to big. I have a similar set up and Iam running a 250 and could probably get away with a 240 main.
Ya mines having the exact same problem..I rode mine ysterday and today it wont start..I just installed FMF fatty and powercare 2 silencer and my stock 240 was way to lean bike got really hot..I went to a 260 and made a big differance and might possibly go to a 270 thats if i can get it going again..Kurt
I put a smaller jet in it. it would start for a second then just die if i gave it gas to try to keep it running. I was going to take the tors off but, I can't figure out how to take it off because it is the newer style blaster. Also would it be possible that my reeds were bad?
