quick silencer question?

I'm hoping to have this kdx 200 running this weekend and I don't have a silencer on it yet.besides being obnoxiously loud which isn't a problem I live in the country is there any risk of damage to the engine?it has a dyno port header but the silencer is broken at the pipe and I have to get another one but I want to test this out.what should I do?

Riding a 2 stroke without a silencer is always a bad idea. Two strokes need backpressure in the engine, so I would advise not to do so.

Yep, bad idea. Most likely it would lean out, and you don't want that.
