Which reeds are a better choice for my setup, Aktive Fiberglass reeds or Vitos carbon flex 2 stage reeds??

Thanks alot and really appreciate the input

if you want some more low end get the fiberglass, they bend easier for low rpms but start to flutter real bad at high rpms, vice versa for the carbon reeds

I would recommend Boyesen's dual stage reeds as a great bang for buck mod. They have both different types of reed material, so you get the best of both worlds!!

Everyone loves VF3 reed cages here, but I doubt they can compare in terms of cost versus seat of the pants results......
My boyesen dual stage reeds were like 32 bux. VF3s are like 120ish range.
Not to anger the many VF3 fans on here, but I've talked to more than one 2stroke mechanic who....didn't praise the VF3s as much as most guys on here do.

Ya thats what i heard more than once too. I guess its between the 2 stage vitos carbon or the boysen. I think in the future Im going to get a cr125 reed cage and get my jug machined cause I was told that the cr cage will make more power than the vf3's do.

Ok so I got a set of Vitos 2 stage crbon flex reeds and Im kinda confused on how exactly they are supposed to be set up on my cage....Is the following pic right?? (carbon piece on top of fiberglas material)

or are these peices supposed to be inplace of the little bar like thing?
