Will a banshee modded shift star fit on a blaster?

Also I cant post in the wanted section but I am looking for some black front fenders. Please PM me if you have some for sale.

no i dont think so.. the banshee star is bigger. i havent had enough trouble shifting to worry about the shift star mod

OK well sometimes when I am shifting and I miss a shift the blaster revs out of control. the only way to stop it is to jam it in gear or think fast enough to kill it. any ideas what could cause this?

LEAK TEST IT!!!! If It has "hanging revs" it's most likely an air leak. Of not, u r probly running really lean on the main jet. Do a plug chop. But leak test it first!

Start by listing your mods and ALL carb specs. Clean carb, leakdown, check that throttle cable works good, slide cap gasket is good, oil injection nipple is blocked off. When you miss a shift are you even letting off throttle?

I had that problem, it wouldnt shift past 4th so i replaced All the gaskets, but now it works fine, it just wont idle, but thats another story lol
