what could i do to clean or flush out the bottom end? when i took my topend off and sent it to wildcard the engine was kind of dirty and before when i had it rebuilt the previous piston had a whole in it the top exhaust side. tiny lil fragments in the oil. the mechainc i had do the work gave me back the piston and said he had flushed it out but i think not so well. any ideas would be great. thanks

gas......just make sure and let it dry nice and good

No I doubt gas would ruin the seals since gas goes thought the bottom end on a 2 stroke.

haha gas goes in to the bottom end before it goes to the top of the piston

holy crap dude. gotta give it to ya man that was deffinatley well explained video. i had a friend tell me to use diesel fuel.

i wouldnt risk flushing it, one little piece and there goes the $$$$ you just spent, i'd split the cases and clean it properly, jmo

^^ what he said...you need to split them and clean it properly,or your going to end up spending way more money and stress

damn thats what i hated to hear. i drove for quite a while like it was. i just decided to clean it but take the cases apart.

Well if it was fine before and you dont see any wear easily,i wouldnt split them. unless you have the tools..then its easy

well it did run fine spite the fact that the mechainc i had do my work put both wrist pin clips on oneside of the piston (what a jackass) causing 2 nice scars in the cylinder walls. i do not have the tools to perform the job. what kind of wear would i like for and where? thanks

well i did examine pretty good and i also tryed moving the crank up and down and there was no motion. i moved it side to side and there was i small amount of motion.
