question on a stock blaster

What is the HP on a stock blaster ? woundering cause the big bore kits SAYS it makes 32 HP . Just wondering the difference

Stock HP is gonna be right around 17HP

That claim is up to 32hp, that's going to be with the right supporting mods. Just bolting on the kit won't be that significant of a gain.

the hp at the crank is 17. crank hp means absolutely nothing, its all about what makes it to the ground.
something with 200 hp could only be getting 100 to the ground if the drivetrain loss is significant.
the blaster gets 12 hp to the ground

Damn my gocart almost has that much HP! How much do you gain off of boring it like .060 over? Any at all?

No .60 over isnt going to help any. that is only 6/100th of an inch bigger. The big bore kit is about 72mm. Stock is 68mm I think.

no, stock is 66mm, a 68 is .090 over bore

well , yall see I have the boyse reeds platnium pipe & pro circut silincer . Am I on the right track ? & I do have to hop up to the 35 mm carb right ? R can I just rejet my stock carb ?

The stock HP at the wheel is 16 as it comes from Yamaha
You can get over 50hp with a big bore and +3mm crank
