question about these reeds

Is there supose to be a gap or what? and what type are these?

i noticed my old boyseen power reeds were like that but they ran fine. my vf3's arent though. i dont think its "good" but its not the end of the world. i noticed if you let off the screws a bit they layed down. after you flipped them over so there were bent down.

You can flip the reeds so they are shut.

oh ok.I wasnt having any probs i just decided to take them out and look at them cuz its raining.

not supposed to have a gap at all. looks like the stock cage with aftermarket reeds. if flipping them doesnt work, its time to go find yourself a new set of petals for it.

Yea they work fine i was just bored so i decided to take it apart and see what they look like.I am ordering new ones today.See how much of a difference it makes in my throtle response.

But yes they did help...ALOT...it was a completly different machine.Th throttle response was wayy better.

My blaster would kill this thing no problem..My blaster was extremely fast..This thing does about 65mph now that i regeared it. The blaster did about 80-85mph with the 14 38 gearing i had in it and it got there quick..Yea i know bad trade. I am regretting it at moments and not at others
