Question about air filter

Can you ride a blaster without the air box cover couldit mess it up?

I have the filter that came with the toomey pipes so I am ok riding without the cover

dnt go throw deep water

just run an outerwears on the filter and you should be fine, but ya deep water is not good, it'll suck some in
