I owned a Blaster before and sold it, well I just bought another because I had so much fun on the last on the I owned. I want to put a extended swing arm on it and was wondering if anyone as done this before. I have a lot of unanswered questions that pertain to this, like what all am I going to have to buy when I do this? So far it looks like I will need the shock, extended brake line and a longer chain, but do not know if I am missing anything else that I will need to complete this project. Look forward to hearing your solutions and comments.

Glad to hear your back in the blaster game and welcome to the forum!
Lots of people get extended swing arms and some people even make their own. What kind of riding to you do, trail/drags, because that will help you decide how long you want it to be. In most cases you shouldn't need at new shock because aftermarket swing arms are designed to work with the stock shock. Yep a longer brake line. When it comes to getting a longer chain you might also want to replace both sprockets. Mismatching chains and sprockets can increase the likelihood of something breaking.

Thanks for the help not buying a new shock will save the money to buy the sprockets.

what extended swingarm to I get if I want my blaster to be a full size quad like a banshee?

Youre question is kind of confusing. What do you mean by full size ? A blaster can be widened and lengthend..

I know, Blaster is a "small" sized quad ,banshee and all other "big" quad's are a bit longer/ wider "full" size quads.
I would go for extended and forwarded a-arms and an extended swing-arm,widened axle/banshee axle that would make it a "full" size quad.
Just my opinion.

how many inches should i extend my swingarm to make it the same length as a banshee or a 400ex

most of us go +3" wider +1" forward a-arms, and either a +3" or +4" swingarm w/ a banshee or +3-6" aftermarket axle to widen the back
with those, my blaster is 1" wider than my buddies stock yfz450 in the back, and just a few inches shorter in length

+2 +1 A arms, +6 swingarm, and a Banshee axle will put you right about the same wheelbase and width as a stock Banshee. However, seating position will still feel like a midsized ATV. I will refrain from posting my opinion on how big of a person is too big for a Blaster. Just because you make it the size of a Banshee, doesn't mean it will ride like a Banshee.
