Pulling the flywheel/stator..

Just wondering if there is any tricks, or should I just spend the $18 on a tool? I tried everything I can think of, and it's not budging..

i would just get the tool $18 is pretty cheap and you get to add another toy to the toolbox

spend the money. its cheap, and really is it worth breaking something else that will cost even more?

Get it off ebay. It's only 10 bucks!

Someone probably didn't use Anti-seize like I didnt the first time. More than likely, that tool will just strip out but you can try it. Next is drilling and tapping the flywheel to use a gear puller. (Use an impact on the puller.)

Oh, I'm sure nobody used anti-seize on it.. I was actually thinking of drilling/tapping to get it off, but held off on it till I got some input. I already ordered the puller so I guess I'll just wait and see how it goes. If it fails then I guess it's on to plan B..

Just get the tool and try it first.Unless you have stripped some of the threads off .I:I

Its a good tool to have, it works on more then just Blasters.

it works for all yamahas and some hondas it wont work on almost all kawais and suzks
