Proper Jetting with Pipe

1992 Blaster, FMF Fatty Pipe, Power Core Silencer, what should I do for jetting?

What do you have now? Try a 270 then work from there.

It is stock so is that a 230? Just don't want to run it lean with the addition of the pipe.

Yes stock is 230, defiantly do not run stock jetting with the pipe system. Like i said try a 270 and see what happins, black and oily/wet is too rich, if it seems kinda colorless or grey thats too lean. It should be a nice cardboard color.

just to add to that... he's referring to the color of the spark plug after a plug chop

So all that needs to be done is the main jet? Keep the stock idle jet and needle / position?

And you can leave the pilot jet, but you may need to adjust the needle. If you do, move the c-clip down to richen and up to lean it out.
