Hey guys, just did a leak down test and my bike isn't leaking anymore! I fixed a leak near the intake and it seems to be doing much better, but still not totally ready to run. It will only run with the choke on. If i take the choke off, it sputters and dies unless im giving it quite a bit of gas. What should i do next? Thanks!

check your screw near the fuel inlet on carb , it should be 1 1/2 turns out , and then turn your air screw under the seat connected to the tors unit , turn it right to close the idle , turn it left to open the idle !

Haha. I've never even thought about adjusting the floats, I thought they were pre set. How do I do this?; and also this seems like a dumb question but what does adjusting the needle that is connected to the tors system do?

that needle goes into the main jet. that is what controlls how much fuel comes out of the main between 1/4 and 3/4 throttle

Float level should 20 to 21.5mm on a stock carby.

Idle adjusting.

Start with air screw 1.5 turns out.

Set idle screw on TORS unit so that it has some sort of idle.

Warm up motor and then set idle screw for a fast idle.

Adjust air screw either way to get the fastest idle.

Adjust air screw a little at a time leaving 10 secs to allow the motor to respond.

Re adjust idle screw for desired idle .
