problem with forks!!!!need help

ok i think sumthings screwy with my forks so i have the motor pulled and now im not sure wat to do now....(btw im a newbie lol) do i need to split the case or is there a easer way to get to the forks?????thanks

Why do you think there is somthing wrong with the shift forks?

well when u shift its like after 1st or 5th gear it jus never stops....and when i reseached it i found out that meant that it had to do with the forks.....

when i was riding it it started to act funny lik i would shift and there was nothing there lik it was in neutral but it would get into seemingly certain gears if i messed with it a bit....wat all do u need to split the case?

About the only special tool you will need is a fly wheel puller, and read through this manual.
