So, I bought an exhaust system for my 2004 Yamaha Blaster along with a jet kit. All parts on this ATV are stock except for the air filter and rear tires. Upon putting the exhaust system on, it just did not seem to fit properly at all. Following this, there are a few pictures, of the slip-on specifically, hitting the frame, back brake light connector, and how it is 8" from being even close to where the stock exhaust was bolted on. Also, I have linked the FMF Power Core II Silencer, the FMF SST Pipe, and the jet kit I purchased. Is this how it is supposed to be or did rockymountainatv.com send me the wrong parts?

Yeah I just talked to them foreigners :| on the live chat thing and I gotta call and they'll apparently exchange it even tho its over the 30 day thing.

but hey d jackson, do you think i'll see a big difference going straight from stock stuff to a K&N air filter, full exhaust system, and new jetting?

ya you will notice its alot cripser on the throttle response, and you will nitice a dirrerence threw the whole power band. FMF makes good pipes for stock blaster motors. i mean stock by no stroker crank, port and polish, and 240 kit.

awesome. do you suggest anything with the shocks? they really seem to suck, like should i tighten them all the way, it seems like they bottom out when i get high enough

About the only thing you can do with the shocks is throw them away and get some good aftermarket ones
