does anybody have any feedback on the pro x brand piston? i need a new piston and i was wondering if they are any good

so i was trying to keep my budget with piston and gasket set under 100 bucks and was just wondering. i will go with wiseco if pro x is junk, but i was just wondering so i can get my top end done soon.

I'd go with Wiseco and not just because I run it. I've seen more than a few Pro-X pistons fail......probably because of user dumbassery, but fail nonetheless. I don't see this as often with stronger forged Wiseco pistons.

yeah i think ill just spend the extra cash and get a wiseco prolite. i already spent 300 for my exhaust and a arms and then another 245 for my top end porting and then another 115 for piston and gaskets... wife isnt too happy. i was going to get a pwk28mm carb for 10 bucks but i forgot about it when i was up in phoenix and now i am back home 2 hours away.

28mm typically go pretty cheap. If you don't want to do that, hit up a machine shop and see if they will just bore your stock carb. I had my stock carb bored to 30mm.
