Just snatched a bone stock 02 blaster a few weeks ago and started to wonder about the price I paid. Only issue with the bike is the rear mechanical brakes do not work at all. Other than that she's in pretty good condition and looks like all it ever saw was trail rides. What would y'all pay for something like this? I paid a 1000 for it, good grab or little over value?

I paid $600 for my 01. It was completely stock except for tires, a twist throttle swap and was missing the plastic heel guards. Everything worked, it needed nothing but I've made some upgrades.

Id say you over paid buy about $200.
But depending on your area, you might have paid just right.
I got my step sons for $500, but top end was blown and I am currently doing crank seals. You can see pic in my profile. So the time we are done, will will have $200 into it,
Top end already bored and ect done. did all that for around $170.00, including gaskit and seals.

you did ok, not fantastic,
the bike looks very clean, good tires, very little wear/rust on the frame, footpegs and steel floorboards is always a good sign too
only time will tell if you overpaid, get a few years out of it without any major/expensive break downs and i say you did good !

For are market it didn't seem bad.. I live in central oklahoma and most I see sell for 1200-1400 for stock
