so polishing is the way to make it look chrome right?? need some clarification please.

yes polishhing aluminum iin the right way will look like chrome, and when you go through the proper steps to get it to shine like chrome, you sand all the "pores" off of the surface of the aluminum, these "pores" act like cooling fins on a radiator....the more surface area the more cooling area, even though they're very small, they still help aid in cooling. the cases are left bare aluminum bc of all the real small ridges and pores. the shinier you make the aluminum, the less imperfections you have in the surface

if its enough to make a difference on a air cooled blaster....who knows but for a mirror finish on the cases and cover your look at 20+ hours of sanding and polishing
