So i was at full throttle powersports just bullshittin with the owner and I was ordering a new chain ( nice x oring chain) and he asks me if i am interested in racing.. and i said sure but i dont have my front end widend yet. He goes.. we could fabricate a yfz front end on there... and his and my eyes widened at the same time and we are like DUDE that would be freakin sweet, he has all the parts and he will do it for me at a very reasonable price.. I just gotta get the blaster to him.. so I will see if that pulls through or not. I will try to take photos, oh and he is putting it on a dyno for me to rejet and see the HP so i will hopefully be able to put up with my setup what kinda horses im pullin.I:I

get the bike over there as soon as possible so we can see the a-arms on there. That would be sweet if they bolted right up.

the funny thing is, is that as long as the a-arm mounts are the same distance apart as the blaster a-arms's then it would be prity easy to put them on. i can't wait to find out what you have to do. i have a flat track quad that needs a-arms and stock 450 a-arms would be perfect.

lol yea i know well he is doing head and cylinder work for me ATM and i gotta break in my blasty yet so next week im gonna make an appt. so yea hopefully it will be a badass blaster from hell.... with the puke green plastic's LOL but they have grown on me lol i like my blaster colors, will also get updated photo of before the transformation and after

keep it!!! It looks like the swamp thing. Yopu could scare some one with that. Definetly take pics

why should he paint his quad and change his plastics? what if he likes it. what if everybody told you to paint your frame and change your plastics just cuz they didnt like them. If he like the green and yellow then stick to the green and yellow. not saying that I like them at all...just saying!

Yeahh. Good point, but take it easy, it seems asthough you just got set off. Haha all I have to say to the person that started this thread is just, don't let this guy take you for a ride...I took my bike to a dealership inwhich I loved the attitude! They were badass man! They had banshees, 250f's, 400s, 450s, just so many nice bikes! They had motorcycles, and even a t-rex! Took my bike to them and they f*cked me sooo hard. Soo hard, right up the ass too. Learn from my mistakes, don't, let them take you for a ride!

ive been dealing with this guy for about a year.. his work is honest and he has yet to rip me off.. i just got a 100 dollar chain for 60 bucks..
and i am the one that started the thread and as i said before i like the colors but if its going to be torn all the way apart i prolly will repaint it i just have not figured out what color honestly i kind of like the colors.. they are very unique and I know if it got stolen.. i could spot it instantly

I'm pretty sure that yfz a-arms won't fit without a bunch of modding. But, I would like to see it when it's done. Is it going to be cheaper than buying longer blaster arms?

So, is this guy redoing your stuff that you sent to Kennedy? If you had been dealing with this guy for a year. How come you didn't have him do the work in the first place. I agree with your post that the porting it didn't look very good. But, Angus came back and offered explanations for his work. He even offered to pay your travel expenses if it didn't dyno well. Now your saying that this guy is going to dyno it too. I'm sure it's not for free.

i'm eager to see if this works i was planning on buying a diamond j kit,if this works I would get a set of them instead.Keep us updated.

I have actually been in the process of attempting this yfz 450 frontend swap. the lowers are exactly like banshee arms they need to be cut 3/16 on each end to fit the lower mounts the uppers well...... need major fab work u can not use the existing mounts they are about 3 inches to narrow. Also u must use the yfz 450 spindles because the blaster ball joints are different.
