I depends on what you are doing with the bike. The best bang for your buck would be the following..... Good pipe, cylinder porting, head rechambered, lightened flywheel, v force 4 reeds, and bigger carb.

They come with gaskets. I suggest getting a used pipe and some jets before spending the money on reeds. If you are on a tight budget I would do the following....
1st- advance timing 4 degrees $free
2nd- UNI air filter and jets. Remover air box lid $30
3rd - 5" wheel spacers $60
4th - used aftermarket pipe, silencer, and jets $150
5th - 20" rear tires $15
6th - lighten flywheel $65
7th- banshee front shocks $50
8th - 400 ex rear shock and KOR bushings $75
