Heres some progress pics of my Blasty...I wanna give a shout out to my bro in-law Mark for helping me out with all this and letting me use his shed. We call it "THE SHOP" LOL
I cleaned the shocks up...
Painted a few pieces.
DG Front Bumper...The silver still needs cleaned and repainted...

Here is a pic of the frame prepped and ready to be painted. The damn paint booth my buddy said I could kinda fell through. So now I have paint and no where to paint.
Just a shot of the motor. I took it off the bike and noticed the piston was broken. If all the pieces are down in the bottom end is it likely the bottom end is ruined??

most likely the bototm end is in good shape, i recommend opening it up and taking all pieaces of metal out and reblace bushings and sh*t. looking good.

Well I guess I should of put this in the begining of the thread.
Here's the paint layout for the Blasty.
Plastics are the Yamaha Blue.
All suspension is gonna stay silver. (swing arm, control arms, etc.)
Wheels are gonna be gloss black with blue hubs.
Front bumper is gonna be silver with the DG center being gloss black.
Frame is gonna be gloss black.
Most of the rest of the bikes misc. parts are gonna be gloss black. (heel guards, rear grab bar, handle bars, steering stem, etc.)
I went with gloss black cuz I figured it would be one of the easiest colors to touch up.

You and me both...Still waiting for a place for my bro in-law to spray the frame. Then I can start assembling it. Cant wait to have a rolling chassis atleast. Then I can figure out what im gonna do about the motor.
Well my bro in-law found a shop to paint frame and painted it tonite. I had to work so I wasn't able to get any pics. So check back tomorrow for some pics of it...Can't wait to get this back together to atleast a rolling chassis. Still trying to get the motor figured out.
Well here is some progress. Went over to my bro in-laws tonite and started putting it together. I only got to work on it for about 45 minutes since 5:30 AM comes pretty quick. Dont mind the pics I dunno why they came out blurry. Ill get better ones later this week...

Thats it for now. Gonna try and get some grips this week. Finish cleaning up some plastics and maybe have a rolling chassis by next weekend.

Me too...I picked up some SCOTT grips today. Blue and Black to match the bike. I wont be able to work on it again until next Thursday prob. I hate 12 hour shifts never have time before or after work to do anything...So check back next weekend sometime and maybe itll be a rolling chassis...
