I had my engine rebuilt during august/september, it had perfect compression. Now ever since the first start i ran that 110 octane. Now when i go to kick it over to start, it take 5-10 kicks to start and i notice i can push down the kickstart with one finger. Does the high octane gas do that. I got scared that it was making it do that and started using 93. Please HELP!!!

well if you can push the kicker down with 1 finger i would have to say you have no compression.....you need to get a compression tester and test it.....sounds like you need a rebuild again.....did you make sure you were jetted right

Well on that brass screw with the phillips screwdriver head tp fit in. i turned it all the in and then back it out like 1 1/2 turns. Is this jetting correct?

Then i took the brass screw with the regular flat tip to fit in and turned it in to make my bike run a bit more rich since it wasn't smoking much to begin with.

omfg.....you killed the motor. Jetting isnt jsut setting the a/f screw. You have to play with the needle clips, change main jet depending on mods. You probably ran it lean and it blew up, but i wonder how you didnt notice it blow up.

still, need new top end, why i dont know but you need it, might jsut get away with a hone and new rings.

I know thats what i think too. I hate Wiseco rings. I might switch to stockers. I know they're are stickys on the forum how to jet, but just guide me on the screws? i was gonna trade for a warrior. i'd hate to see it go.

Aight. First of all get ready for alot of testing and you will need patience. Jetting is a biotch the first time but you will be proud when you get it. Depending on mods and your altitude is how you change your jetting. I dont know what mdos you have or whatsoever but heres a basic guideline.

Check the color of your spark plug,if it looks white or gray, go up 1 or 2 main jet. leave needle clip in middle. Test it with a new spark plug and do a plug chop. If you are still lean drop needle clip 2 clips(the closer the clip is to the pointed end the richer you run) Test again if you are still lean and the clip is in last spot, put it back to middle and go up on the main jet 1 size. And so on, adjust till you have a nice tan-dark brown color on the spark plug. I currently run a bit rich cuz i like to run o nthe safe side and so the engine is cooler.

Also always change 1 thing at a time so if you screw up you know what it was. If you have any more questions feel free to ask me or send me a pm.I:I

^^^what he said.

Post back and let us know what main jet is in your bike. If you were a little lean to start and you dumped race fuel in it then you for sure melted your piston. Race fuel CAN run 1 to 2 jet sizes leaner (you need bigger jets with race fuel)). Some exotic fuels even more.
