I was riding today and something went wrong.I have a 2003 blaster with weisco piston bored over.20, boyesen reeds, k&n filter and full fmf exhaust gold series with a fatty header. Here is the story i was riding went to go from first gear to second gear and all the sudden the bike locked up. I cant get it to start again. The kick start wont move at all. The netural and all gears still works cause i had to put in neutral to get towed. I dont know if its the top end or what. Please help me out. Thanks.

Do you have the oil injection hooked up still. If so it probably failed, they tend to do that. Thats why we all run block off kits and just pre-mix our fuel. always the first mod you should do to a blaster.(any oil injected 2-stroke for that matter) Followed by ripping off the TORS system

TORS is short for Throttle Over Ride System. Its the big hunk of junk sitting on top your carb (if you still have it). Just because it was using oil does not mean the pump did not go out. Once the oil pump goes you can seize the motor in a matter of minutes even seconds.

The oil injection can be removed without the kit if you have some basic fabricating skills. but since you seem to be new to the blaster scene I would suggest the kit because it come with instructions. first you need to verify that that is the problem though. You may have shattered the piston and lodged a piece in the crank or something. What ever the problem is, there is somebody here that has already had that problem and can help you through step by step. Stick around and you'll learn quickly that there is nothing on a blaster we cant that we help you fix.
Your piston might have locked up in the cylinder bore. Remove your cylinder head and inspect for damage.
could be the rod locked up on the crank. I had it happen to a lt230. I was riding and it seized right up, pulled it down rod was stuck solid on the crank.
