Playing in the snow

Well I know its not one of the Blasters that I had but it would not of made it through the snow anyway. Video quality is not the best but you get the idea.

yea i bet an blaster or any 2wd quad would suffer to make it, seemed like when u lost ur momentum the sportsman was slowing and suffering to make it to the packed down snow

It slows down a little but with those tires it goes through enough. Momentum helps a lot though.

25" BF Goodrich. Its fun playing in the snow, but its a pain when it all freezes afterward. Just waiting for good ice around here for the sport quad. Had rain and snow for the last couple days so that slowed down the ice on the rivers here.

yup, just waiting for ice, you got rid of that blaster that you had the pipe from me. I like the 400ex. I had a 99ex loaded up. Never let me down but I wanted to upgrade to liquid cooled.

hahah yep, 400ex is in dieing need of an engine rebuild(smokes BAD) and it still starts right up and runs STRONG

When I had mine, I replaced the head gasket, I found someone had the piston in backwards but it still was running great. No bent valves or nothing. Only problem I had was the head bolts liked to stretch on it. I would just go for an oversize, like 440 kit. You can only stick in so much money into a 400ex before you might as well buy bigger. Just keep it reliable and run it hard.

nice vid.. my trike would have made it about 10 feet and burried the fast trekkers to the ground and the front woulda been sittin on top of the snow lol

gotta lean back and keep them front tires on top of the snow and it will cut right threw it!!!


i was out on the lake and rivers here 2 weeks ago, than we got this crap.. looks to be mid 20s all week so come new years it go time!!

when jersey got that big nor easter is when i first got my blasty up and running.. top to bottem rebuild... i tryed taking it out and it took me 10 minutes to get out of my yard. haha but once i got to the street it was ok cause some of the cars had made it easier. i went to go to the pit and no one even went back there.. so i didnt even attempt it.. i got stuck allotta times. and i couldnt get on it cause its too freshh. and i havent even been able to take my quad to the woods since i have gotten it. lol but we just got 2 days of rain so all the snow is gonna. now there are just lakes everywhere lol i will be able to rip sumtime lol.

went out for a little ride today, lake and channel is fine, i only went about 2 miles into the city on the river, and turned around,( dont like riding by my self on 'new' ice) from what i seen this morning lookin over bridges, the fun section of the river is wide open water again.....

by fun section i mean the turns and endlss s turns .. where ya gotta work to keep your speed and stay on the ice and not end up in a tree
