So i got my blaster and the previous owner said the head was shaved to make more compression (not sure how much...i think 20 thou). I am getting ready to freshen up the top end with a new wiesco piston and new bore. My question is im thinking about getting vito's high compression gasket set for my rebuild....would this plus the shaved head cause the piston to head clearance to be too low? or even hit? I know these two combined will make my compression pretty high....but race fuel is not a big deal for me so it shouldnt detonate....any guess what my compression would be?

Dont think so man i had the head shaved on my last motor as much as it could be and used the vitos gasket kit and never had any problems. My motor was on alky and i was trying to get as much compression as i could

you can shave 35 thou off the stock head and still run 93 octane. so just so the high compression gasket isn't more than 15 thou thinner than the stocker you'll be fine.
