piston kit

Well I blew my motor yesterday. Motor is stock, only have 80 lbs. of compression. Need to know what is the best piston kit. Not sure exact problem until I tear it down next week. Hopefully no damage to cylinder wall. I hav e seen weisco, wsm and some other kits. What is the difference in the weisco and a platinum piston other than cost. Will probally go .040 over. Thanks for any help.
