piston/cylinder help

Trying to put the bottom end back in after having a time sert put in in one of the stripped threads. The piston does not want to slide into the cylinder. Didnt want to force it does it take a little forcing to make it go in? Any help please i really need it.

your prolly not getting the rings in all the way.you gotta squeeze them together.its hard to do by urself

yup, make sure to oil everything up really really well and that'll help. then squeeze the rings with one hand and slide the cylinder down

make sure the rings are rotated correctly so they pinch over the locating pins. if they dont you will bever get it on. did you gap the rings?? stick you finger in some 2 stroke oil and rub it around the chamfer at the base of the cylinder.

No Forcing! It will slip in when the rings are right like stated above.
